Built around wave- and vortex-like soundscapes emerging from stillness, and vocals that shimmer with a luminous, almost divine presence, this collection highlights the defining contours of each composition. This release comes from a Tokyo-based creative design studio in Higashi-Azabu, run by a florist/designer who previously reissued the remastered CD edition of sugar plant’s trance mellow. While rooted in music, the work is conceived as an analog object that embodies spatial awareness.
As the needle drops, a unique sonic landscape unfolds—marked by clarity and soft light—accompanied by a sense of visual expansiveness. This is a collection that presents sugar plant’s music as a soundscape: one that resists simple genre categorization, grounded instead in a broad perspective and a deep artistic sensibility.
Limited to 300 copies on colored vinyl, this rare edition pursues a high level of completion as a work that translates sound into both language and visual form.
